[Release Notes](https://knowledge.govividly.com/release-notes?hsLang=en) August 14, 2026 # Release Notes - 08/12/2026  ### **New Features / Improvements** #### **Cash Application** - Added the ability to search by check number #### **Deductions Reconciliation** - **Write Off Spread Lines Available Through the Public API** - A new public API endpoint returns the leaf level allocation breakdown for hierarchical write offs, giving the amount, leaf customer, and leaf product group for each spread line together with activity level context. The Settlement Report API response now also carries the resolution activity id, so the two can be joined. Previously the leaf level split behind a hierarchical write off was only visible in the app. ### **Bug Fixes** #### **Cash Application** - **Editing Backup Files Now Keeps the Cash App Remit in Sync** - Editing the backup files on a deduction transaction could fail to update the matching Cash App remit while the app still reported the edit as successful, so the remit silently kept its old backup files. The failure came from validating the transaction's already attached backups together with the incoming ones, which produced duplicate file references and a false mismatch. Only the backup files sent with the edit are validated now, so the Cash App remit updates as expected. #### **Deductions Reconciliation** - **Cleared Invoice Lines Can No Longer Be Edited From Bulk Select** - On a transaction that had already been cleared, selecting invoice lines and using bulk edit still allowed fields such as customer and open amount to be changed, even though the single line edit path correctly locked them.
