How to Bulk Update Pricing via Upload

Step 1: Download Current Pricing

  • Go to Manage > Pricing
  • Click the settings gear icon → "Download Prices"
  • Save the Excel file

 

Step 2: Edit Pricing in Excel

  • Open the downloaded Excel file
  • Update prices in the Price column
  • Keep these 3 columns: Customer | Product Group | Price
  • Save a copy of your edited Excel file

Important: Remove any blank or zero values (they will override existing pricing)

 

Step 3: Upload Updated Pricing

  • Navigate to Manage > Pricing > "Load from File"
  • Drag and drop or click to upload your edited Excel file that contains updated pricing
  • Set the effective date (when the new pricing will take effect) 
  • Map Vividly fields to the columns in your Excel file (Customer, Product Group, Price)
  • Click "Next Step" to Upload

  • If you encounter a "Customer is an indirect retailer" error: This indicates that pricing cannot be edited directly for this customer type. As long as you have successfully added the pricing to their first receiver, you can safely disregard this error. 
  • For any other error types, please contact Customer Support.

Key Notes:

     ⚠️ Never include blanks or zeros - they will set pricing to $0.00

     📅 One effective date per file - use separate uploads if you need different timing

     ✅ Customer/Product Group names must match exactly what's in Vividly
